Excellent service. Food is authentically tasty. Ordered the mole chicken enchiladas and carnitas. Cocktails mixed well & not over iced. Nice atmosphere, but kind of small so it gets crowded easily.

Stopped in on a random Monday night and there was no wait. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is great with music and outdoor and indoor seating. The food was delicious. They have chips and salsa with beans. The chips are wonderful and light and crispy. I ordered the tinga tacos and they were delicious. They come with cheese in the taco not on top which was different. The shells are also green. They were good not what I expected but good. The rice and beans were also yummy!

4.5 rounded up to 5. Absolutely love this place. They have an amazing happy hour (you now have to ask about it), the food is very tasty and very unique, they offer bottomless mimosa's on Sunday's (you have to ask for it), and their complimentary chips, salsa and beans are SUPER appreciated. We've probably been here 50 times since they opened, and it's been turned over at least once I think. There has also been a large turnover in staff. There are alot of things we miss about the "old Maiz", but not enough for us to stop coming here and enjoying their food. Pretty much everything on the menu is amazing, and there are things from the "old Maiz" that you have to know to ask about like the happy hour, bottomless mimosa's, and some specialty michilada's they took off the menu. The ambience is very meh. It's bright, crowded, and small, but the added patio is very nice and is now where we prefer to sit, although getting service on the patio is sometimes a challenge. The food more than makes up for the ambience. If you could bring back the calamari steak instead of the calamari rings, I would very much appreciate it :-)

This place was fantastic! The service was great, friendly, and attentive. The food and prices were really good. It has a nice little bar and the way the restaurant is set up, makes it private sitting but in a group atmosphere. I would eat here a couple times a week if I lived in the area.

Food was great! Chips and salsa that also came with a bean dip! Service was ok but it was a lot of big parties and I think they handled it well. They allowed us to split the bill amongst couples which really helps!

Upscale Mexican, everything I have tried is good so far. Deconstructed pork belly tacos are a must.
